Here is a list of our upcoming grill classes. We will be constantly adding new classes so please check back or sign up to be on our e-mail list and we will notify you when we add new classes. We hold our classes both inside and outside weather permitting. Don`t forget our kitchen and patio are available for your own private event.Thank you for your interest!
Payment for classes must be made at time of reservation. If you need to cancel you must do so at least 72 hours before the class for a full refund. Thanks for respecting this policy as we have a number of fixed costs for each class. You can always send a friend in your place.
Thursday February 19th 7pm Sold Out
Join us for a Steak Class with Joe Spera from Al's Market. Joe will cut up an entire loin and show us where we get the different cuts of steak from and then we will grill them on both charcoal and gas to show you how to grill the perfect steak. Cost $60
Friday February 27th 7pm
Join us for a Seafood Class with Chef Phil Siciliano. Learn some simple but tasty recipes that make grilling seafood easy. Menu items include cedar plank salmon, smoked trout and seared tuna salad. Cost $50
Thursday March 12th 7pm
This is the first part of our series with Oakton Community College. Classes will be held here at our shop but you must call Oakton to sign up. Call them at 847-982-9888. This class will be a Grilling 101 class. Learn some basic grilling recipes, proper techniques for both charcoal and gas, and the proper tools to use. The second part of the series a Seafood class is on April 9th and the final part a steak class is on May 7th.
Saturday March 21st 2pm
Join us for a Big Green Egg class. Learn what makes the Egg the world's greatest smoker/grill. We will smoke pork, sear steak, grill chicken and even fire some pizza. Cost $40
Friday April 17th 7pm
Join us for a beer dinner with Firestone Walker who has been brewing beer in Santa Barbara since 1996. This will be a four course meal paired with 5 different beers. Rob Salitore from Firestone Walker will be on hand to discuss their beer and their history. Cost $50
