Here is a list of our upcoming grill classes. We will be constantly adding new classes so please check back or sign up to be on our e-mail list and we will notify you when we add new classes. We hold our classes both inside and outside weather permitting. Don`t forget our kitchen and patio are available for your own private event. Thank you for your interest!
Payment for classes must be made at time of reservation. If you need to cancel you must do so at least 72 hours before the class for a full refund. Thanks for respecting this policy as we have a number of fixed costs for each class. You can always send a friend in your place. Meathead Goldwyn from Amazing Ribs.com is the author of "Meathead the science of Great BBQ and Grilling". Amazon named it the Cookbook of the Year at midyear. Meathead will be here at our shop to discuss "Old Husband Tales, BBQ myths that deserve to die", sign books and answer questions. We will grill some recipes from the book and pair them with 3 great bbq wines or beers! Cost for event is $50 if you want a copy of the book with it, $25 if you already have book or just want to come to taste and listen. Call shop to sign up 847-251-2272, space is limited. Join us for a beer dinner with Lakefront Brewing from Milwaukee Wisconsin. Lakefront Brewing was started in 1987 by Jim and Russ Klisch and has been growing and brewing award winning beer ever since. This will be a 4 course meal paired with 5 of their beers. We are also honored to have Jim Klisch attending this dinner to answer your questions and tell you the story of Lakefront Brewing. Cost $50

Chris Marks from Landmark Manufacturing makers of The Good One line of smokers will be here for a rib and chicken class. Chris has won the American Royal 8 times so you know you will learn a lot! Chris will show you how to do ribs and chicken the right way, low and slow. Chris also has a line of award winning rubs and sauces called Three Little Pigs which we will use on the ribs and chicken!

We will be hosting our first Eggfest. We are proud to partner with Mikey Kay from Man Meat BBQ and Tim Landrus a.k.a. Big Chef Timmy to bring you Windy City Eggfest. The Eggfest will be at our store and will feature grilling, a demo from Mikey and Tim, a lot of food to sample, a lot of Egg talk and an opportunity to take home an XL or Large Egg used that day at a great price.
